Our Curriculum

We have students from prek-1 through secondary school.  Our full-time teachers are certified and teach using curriculum based on current stateside standards and practices.  Students in grades pre-k (three and four-year-olds)  through grades 10 also participate in art, music, physical education (including swimming), technology and French, and a variety of interesting choices for after-school activities – such as cooking classes, swiming, karate, music lessons, and drama.m

AISN recently implemented a new high school curriculum and hired two new secondary teachers, with Masters’ degrees, who have the experience and the credentials to teach students at the high school level.  Currently, AISN only has students in grades 9 and 10, but as they progress into grades 11 and 12, full courses of study will continue to be offered and credit hours will be given. Our high school students have a full curricular program for language arts, social studies/history, math, science (including math and science labs), yearbook, art, music, physical education (including swimming), technology, library (research), French, and African studies.  High school students also participate in after-school activities such as debate, environmental club, student council, team sports, and other areas of interest at the secondary level.
